This is the perfect jacket for a rainy climate. It's roomy enough that you can layer underneath, but light enough that you don't sweat to death if it's warm. The backpack is undetectable when you're wearing it, and so great for those days when the weather is uncertain. I bought it for a spring trip to France, and it was absolutely perfect. It looks stylish enough to wear with a scarf, but still very practical. It fits large. I am generally a size 12 with very long limbs. I got a medium. It was still quite roomy. The sleeves were long enough for my long arms, which is rare.
Very happy with this raincoat! Definitely oversized and designed to be a single waterproof layer (there is not additional insulation), but that makes it extremely packable and layer-able. The big dual pockets are super handy for travel—today I walked around a city all day with no purse and put a small wallet, sunglasses, my phone, and a bottle of water in the pockets and i still had room for my hands. I am tall (5’10’’) with long arms and, unsnapped, the sleeves are long. The elastic ties and snaps keep it from being shapeless, but I can see why someone petite would be frustrated by how oversized the jacket is.
Great fit, love the style.
I'm between small and medium for size. At 5'7" small often leaves me with too narrow shoulders and too short sleeves. Not the case with this jacket and I will be sending it back in exchange for xsmall. It's an otherwise lovely jacket although the pebble colour is more pinkish than anticipated, so I'll try the dark blue this time.

Outer space is a lovely colour but there are some odd design choices and I might return it. It’s very oversized. The back is bunchie between the trench style on the back obit (why?) and the built in backpack. Also the elastic waist is quite high. I want to see if the next size down is better but there is no store in Toronto.
