Lachine Oversized Packable Rain Jacket

Sized down, but still need to size down two more sizes, not available so I don’t get to have this lovely coat. The coat seems of great quality otherwise

I should have sized down. I usually take XL in fall/winter coats, but L would have worked, but XL has the length I like. I like Lole quality, but have had trouble finding the right fit for a sturdy build. Models are all tall and slim. I'm not. Thanks for good quality.

I bought this jacket a year ago at a local high-end sportswear shop for a Fall trip to Northern California. It was just perfect in weight and appearance, but on the trip I had difficulty zippering the coat. I would have to try multiple times to get the start of the zipper to sit right and zip up. Still, I was able to get it zipped eventually. However, this Fall, I took the coat out to wear it again and now no matter how hard I try, the zipper won't zip. The zipper is heavy duty and the same gorgeous, rich rust orange color as the coat, so I can't imagine that I can find a replacement very easily, let alone find someone to recreate the fine construction. I brought the coat back to the store I bought it from and they said that Lole has a one-year guarantee, but only if you bought it from the Lole their website. I am really bummed because other than the broken zipper, I love the coat and I paid a hight price for it and expected better quality.

I love these short jackets for cool days. Roomy enough to wear a sweatshirt, sweater underneath. Snaps and zipper options. They fold up and slip easily into the attached carry pouch with handles.

I love this jacket! I have a curvier body and it’s so hard to find rain jackets that fit me comfortably. It looks good with everything and I can layer easily. I normally wear large and I got large for this to make it extra roomier and to be able to wear a sweater underneath. It’s comfortable and can zip up easily.
