This is my third Piper Rain coat. I bought a black one a few years ago, then a khaki one, and now - the navy. Living in Canada, I can wear it almost year round, but with a sweater in the colder months. Love the style/design - adjustable cinched waist, great length and a bit longer at the back, the hood, the high neck ability, the pack-ability, nice big pockets, snap button front, flattering seams… and while the navy may be my favourite colour of the three I have, there us no longer draw string adjustability on the sleeves which I really liked. Wondering why? Otherwise, I highly recommend this very rainproof, very stylish coat.
Terrible customer service, the jacket is ok- not particularly what I was expecting but nevertheless, an ok rain jacket (not well fitting and quite thin.) But I will never order again after the customer service I received, or rather, didn’t receive after they messed up my order and refused options to make it right.
This is a great jacket. I really like the colour. My measurements showed I was on the boarder of medium and large, because the reviews say it fits large I ordered medium. I wanted it to fit over my bulky sweaters. As soon as it arrived I returned it for a size small. I think I could still fit an extra small with room to spare over bulky sweaters but Im going to keep the small so its roomy enough to bike with.
The backpack inside is a bit strange as it adds quite a bit of bulk to the jacket. I think I will end up cutting it out but that's my personal preference.
Hi there, thank you for taking the time to leave a review for our Piper 2.0 Rain Jacket. We are happy to hear that you love the jacket and the color. We understand your concern about the sizing, and we appreciate you following the sizing recommendations from other customers. We apologize for the inconvenience of having to return it for a smaller size, but we're glad the small fits better for your needs. The backpack inside is meant for added functionality, but we completely understand if you prefer to remove it. Thank you for choosing our product, and we hope you enjoy wearing it on your biking adventures. Happy trails!
I love almost everything about this jacket: the silky material, the three pockets, the length and fit. But the hood slides so far forward on my face that I have to roll back the brim to see. The original Piper jacket had an adjustment around the neck as well as around the brim of the hood - why doesn't this one?
Product was perfect size and colour.
