Piper 2.0 Packable Rain Jacket

I’m 5’11” with an hourglass figure and have a hard time finding raincoats long enough and with enough room in the chest and hips but with a waist. I looked everywhere and I am so glad I picked this coat. I love the length, the roominess for style and layering, the deep green colour, the waist-defining synch, and the pocket and hood designs. The only thing I don’t like about this jacket is that the stuff sack is sewn into the lining, just hanging down the back on the inside of the jacket. It doesn’t bother me when I’m wearing the jacket, but it’s an extra flap of fabric that doesn’t need to be there. I recommend choosing your regular size for an oversized fit, or size down for a more tailored look.

The Piper 2 is exactly what I was looking for. It is a much smaller profile than the Piper. I still sized down but it feels so much better. I have an original Piper and although I love the rain protection it gives I have always found it sloppy looking.

Since we are experiencing so much rain here in the PNW, it was the perfect time to try out this jacket. I was in need of replacing one & this jacket seemed to fit the bill. I love it! Got to wear it all day today & it kept me dry & was a nice layer over my light sweater. Green is my favorite color too. 😊

I purchased an xxl still lots of room for a heavy sweater and lots of movement
I usually take an xl...but glad I purchased the next size up
The only reason for 4 stars is one of the zippers on the pockets is jammed and I can't get it to close completely
Otherwise a great purchase
